Hoda Magid

Hoda Magid is a PhD candidate in the department of Epidemiology in the Berkeley School of Public Health focusing on Social Epidemiology and Adolescent Health. Her research focuses on alternative tobacco products in adolescents and young adults, and determining the associations of user behavior with marketing exposure, tobacco retailer density and proximity, and neighborhood deprivation. Her research involves following a California cohort of adolescents and young adults over time, conducting a longitudinal analysis incorporating causal inference methods.
